Chart of Material Grades and Properties

Permanent magnet materials are graded based on the maximum energy they produce. Each grade has its own magnetic properties relating to the strength of magnetic field output, resistance to demagnetization, maximum recommended operating temperature, and temperature coefficients.

Our chart of material properties displays each permanent magnet material along with its Maximum Energy Product: Bhmax, Residual Flux Density: Br Gauss, Coercive Force: Hc Oersteds, Intrinsic Coercive Force: Hci Oersteds, and Maximum Operating Temperature: C / F.
