2025 marks Adams’ 75th anniversary. Each month this year, we’ll be shining a spotlight on one of the many long-term team members who have helped us grow and thrive over the last three quarters of a century.
This month we’re highlighting Inside Sales superstar and 25-year Adams employee, Silvia Urbina. Hard-working and completely dedicated to both the internal Adams family and our customers, Silvia brings Adams’ Core Value of Responsibility to life each and every day. Charged with setting up and maintaining customer accounts and managing a constant flow of customer inquiries, including preparing quotes, providing delivery dates, checking stock, and ensuring that our customers feel heard and cared for, Silvia manages every request with her trademark blend of professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm.
Silvia’s sense of responsibility to our team and customers is the result of a lifelong commitment to family and hard work modeled over a lifetime. One of 11 children raised by parents with a strong work ethic and a deep-rooted commitment to quality, Silvia and her siblings began working alongside her mother and father at the age of six, taking each task assigned to them seriously. Fast forward several years, and Silvia joined Adams in 2000, committed to doing the best job she could possibly do for her new work family.
Says Craig Myers, Adams’ Western Regional Sales Manager, “Our customers adore Silvia because they know they can count on her for on-the-spot help with anything and everything – and that she’ll always answer with a smile.”
“Adams gave me work when I needed it and has given me the opportunity to grow, learn, and provide the type of service to our customers that I would want for myself and my family,” says Silvia, who has challenged herself to grow both sales and customer satisfaction each year.
Adams would not be the industry leader it is or be servicing the volume or caliber of clients that we are without team members like Silvia treating our customers with such a real sense of commitment and responsibility. We’re honored she’s called Adams home for 25 years and look forward to 25 more!
