2025 marks Adams’ 75th year in business. To celebrate this monumental achievement, we’ll share the stories and highlight the contributions of many of our long-term employees, without whose accomplishments we would not be the industry leader we are today.
In March, we honor Inside Sales team member Darryl Carver. A Chicago native, Darryl originally accepted the role in 1997 because our Chicago office was near Veteran’s Hospital, where his dad was being treated. Finding the work suited his commitment to hard work and honesty, Darryl stayed on and has since become a staple in the department.
Since Darryl joined Adams 28 years ago, the company has expanded its Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams. But one thing that hasn’t changed is Darryl’s dedication to building and nurturing deep, long-lasting relationships with our customers.
Says Craig Myers, Adams’ Western Regional Sales Manager, “The relationships Darryl has built with our customers span decades. Our customers know they can count on Darryl for an honest, timely, and respectful response to whatever they need. That kind of trust is rare in business these days, but the proof is in Darry’s customer feedback reports. He consistently scores at the top with incredible compliments, year after year!”
Grateful to be a part of a strong company with strong management and strong employees, Darryl has built strong bonds with his teammates and enjoys joking with his fellow employees. His teammates appreciate Darryl’s professionalism and dedication, and he was especially touched when several of them joined him at his father’s wake in 1998, one year after arriving at Adams.
Says Darryl of the last 28 years, “Adams has become a force to be reckoned with. We have been very fortunate to hire good people who do their jobs very well.” We count Darryl among those good people, embodying Adams’ core value of integrity with an unwavering commitment to keeping his word and holding himself and his team to the highest standards every day for nearly three decades.
